Don’t believe the clerics saying: God is testing you

why-god-forsake-us-articles

When you see destruction in a country or city or even in your small family, don’t believe when the clerics lie to you saying: (When God loves his servant, He would afflict him) or (God is testing you, your patience and your faith.)These are all lies, for the Holy Bible teaches us, as well as the history from ancient times to the present day, that no city was destroyed nor a nation became extinct but because of their sins, and because the LORD God has turned his face away from them allowing their extermination.
When Noah’s Flood came, for example, God wasn’t testing them, He rather intended to exterminate the earth with everything in it. Also in Babylonian captivity, He was not testing Israel’s patience, but was indeed handing them over to the captivity, because they disobeyed him, defied Him, and worshiped another gods. The killing of the children of Jerusalem, the disease that came upon the people of Israel in the days of Moses, and the plagues against the pharaoh in Egypt, all of them were not due to God’s love for people, nor was it his desire in order to test and afflict them, He was rather delivering them to the destruction and the destroyer for He was disgusted with them so much that He turned His face away from them.

When a whole country or city is delivered to perdition, we have to ask why?
The ignorant blames God, so he gets as the LORD says in
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”
As for the wise, when he sees the plagues of destruction and devastation, pestilence and disease coming to his home and his city, he directly sits alone for an honest session of self-evaluation, in which he recalls his life and his sins, saying: (It is necessary to hurry and fix before my end comes.)

When do we get the LORD God’s blessing?
In order for the LORD God to bless a person, this person must be in the likeness of Christ, which the Father loves to see in us. Any resemblance other than this one means that we have distorted the image with our sins and corrupted the nature in which He likes to see us. And in order not to see this distorted image, He turns his face away from us, so our lusts along with the evil that we have done and the god of sin we are worshiping, seize us.

The pillars and principles of behavior on earth:
The LORD God says in Genesis: “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth”
He has set us principles to act upon, and the peoples who have been destroyed, and are still being destroyed till this day, are those who have violated all the principles that God has placed on earth. In order for God to bless a people, these people must deal with the four pillars in a proper way, which we can clearly see at the beginning and the end of the Holy Bible (the chapters of Genesis and Revelation)

1- The relationship with the LORD God.
2- The relationship among human beings
3-The relationship with other creatures
4-The relationship with the Earth

The Holy Bible tells us that discipline does not come to a people as long as they do not violate the four pillars, but when they do and break all of them then they are handed over to destruction or annihilation. We will start with the least important relationship to the most important one.

1- The relationship with the Earth
In Genesis 1, the LORD God has entrusted mankind on Earth. He has created it very carefully, saw that everything is good in it, and gave it to us
“28- …..Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:”
“29-And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth,”
We notice throughout history that all the peoples who were annihilated have something in common, mentioned in the Bible, which is corrupting the Earth. In Genesis 4, When Cain shed Abel’s blood on the earth, said the LORD: “11- And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

12- When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength;”
Also the Flood in Genesis 6: “12-And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13-And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
Why did the LORD God give Moses and the people of Israel the lands of other nations to enter and own them? Were they more holy and more righteous?
And we ask the same question today when we see foreign people living in a civilization, are they more worthy than us? The LORD God answers us in
Leviticus 18:27 “For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;”
and in Deuteronomy 9:5 “Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee”

The LORD God cared for the Earth, and even when He decided to expel the corrupt peoples from it, He did not destroy all of them at once so the earth would not be corrupted,
Exodus 23:29 “I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.”

Thus, we should not spoil the earth by the abundance of our impurities above it, from killing, committing adultery, worshiping idols and other gods, not to forget a very important matter, which is to rest and let the earth rest
Leviticus 25:2 “then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.”
God is the Creator of the earth and He knows that it needs a rest, so just as He gave man the Sabbath, as a day off, to rest, He also asked us to work six years and for the seventh the earth should rest; so we shouldn’t plant, harvest, cultivate, nor should we do anything but rather to enjoy the yield of the earth that year with our household, the orphans, the poor, the widows, the weak and even the beasts,
“3- Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
4- But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
5- That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.”
Unfortunately, we are not only consumers, but rather, out of our greediness and avaricious, we are exaggerating in consumption, which is why we have exhausted the earth and humanity around us.

2- Our relationship with the LORD God’s creatures
The LORD God has entrusted us on the plants and animals, and we must be faithful to this responsibility
Genesis 1: “28-……, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.”
In the beginning, He forbade humans from eating animals, and animals from preying on humans; He created everything perfect and pure, but we defiled the earth and got defiled by it. We also notice that the LORD God’s has looked after the beasts, since the time of Noah’s Flood, so not only Noah and his family were rescued
Genesis 7:8 “Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,”
The LORD God also gave Moses, the law of beasts in Leviticus 11. He has also asked them to avoid the excessive consumption of animals
Leviticus 25: “6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.”
Deuteronomy 5:14 “But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle,”
Psalms 147:9 “He giveth to the beast his food”
Psalms 104:14 “He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle,”
Also in the story of Jonah and the people of Nineveh, the LORD said to Jonah:
Jonah 4:11 “And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?”
He also commanded us to take care of animals in Proverbs 12:10 “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast”
So did we maintain this responsibility?!
You can see videos spreading from the underdeveloped countries, which were left to perish, from animals’ torture up to having intercourse with beasts, the thing that is forbidden in the Holy Bible
Exodus 22:19 “Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.”
Deuteronomy 27:21 “Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast.”

3- The relationship with the human beings
The LORD God established the law, principles, constitution, organization, rights and duties. There are six out of ten commandments in which God set up the way to deal with others, as He also honored man with the highest honor
Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”
And in First Epistle of John 4:20 “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”
Genesis 9:6 “Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed”
Leviticus 18:6 “None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness”
The LORD Jesus Christ summarized the relationship of man with his fellow man on earth in a verse which none has come before Him, nor will come after Him with a more accurate verse
Matthew 19:19 “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
And He made it the second commandment after “love the LORD thy God”
Both the books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy include the laws, and when we read their items, we find that the legislations were derived from them; what is prohibited and what is permitted, what is considered nakedness, what is permissible for you and what is forbidden, what defiles and what purifies you…etc, even the other religions had derived their books and regulations from them.
This organization, which the LORD God has given us in the Holy Bible, is based on a clear and explicit order of mercy, so He prohibited the exploitation,
in Leviticus 25:36 “Take thou no usury of him, or increase”
It is forbidden for the Son of the LORD to engage in usury and trade in profit. There are also countless of verses about showing mercy to others and abstaining from greed
Deuteronomy 14: “28- At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
29- And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied”
Leviticus 23:22 “And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.”
Deuteronomy 15: “1- At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
2- And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD’S release.”
We read about the way of treating others that provokes the LORD to anger in Malachi 3:5 “And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Where are we, as Christians, from applying the verse “Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me”?
We all repeat it like parrots, but how many of us have kept it?
So before we have the audacity to say: (Where is God?) let’s see where are we ourselves from the commandments of the LORD God?

4- The relationship with God
And it is the most important relationship. As we see that all humans who were exterminated or the sects that became a minority after they were great nations, all of them had either worshiped another god, or worshiped their own selves.
I wish you would watch the episodes about “The Ten Commandments” so you would realize how much we have provoked the LORD God to anger, and how much we have sinned against ourselves.

The blessings of obedience and the curses of disobedience:
In Deuteronomy 28, the LORD God expressly shows us the wisdom which is placed on earth, the blessings of obedience and the curses of disobedience, and it is up to you to choose which one of them you want by through your implementing of the commandments.

The LORD God says in Deuteronomy 28 “1- And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2- And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3- Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4- Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5- Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6- Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7- The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8- The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
9- The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
10- And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11- And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12- The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13- And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
14- And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.”
Let us now read what the LORD God says to us, if we do the opposite and do not keep His commandments
Deuteronomy 28 “15- But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
16- Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.
17- Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.
18- Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
19- Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
20- The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
21- The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.
22- The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.
23- And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.
24- The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
25- The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
26- And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.
27- The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.
28- The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
29- And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
30- Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.
31- Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.
32- Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.
33- The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:” ……and so on

The LORD God punishes His children who left Him to worship another god, by handing them over to the god they worship; this is the fairness, justice and right.

What is the solution?
In the second book of Chronicles, the LORD God gives us the key for the problems of our lives, which is the prayer, as Solomon did

II Chronicles 6 “24- And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;
25- Then hear thou from the heavens, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest to them and to their fathers.
26- When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;
27- Then hear thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, when thou hast taught them the good way, wherein they should walk; and send rain upon thy land, which thou hast given unto thy people for an inheritance.
28- If there be dearth in the land, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillers; if their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be:
29- Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when every one shall know his own sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
30- Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and render unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou only knowest the hearts of the children of men:)
31- That they may fear thee, to walk in thy ways, so long as they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.
32- Moreover concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, but is come from a far country for thy great name’s sake, and thy mighty hand, and thy stretched out arm; if they come and pray in this house;
33- Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for; that all people of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.”

At the end, the blessing and curse are before you, the life and death are before you, you are free not obliged, and you will definitely reap what you sow.

Why did God forsake us? with Maggie Khozam
